NDT Lecturer

About the Role:

Our client, a leading training and certification authority in Welding and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) across Africa, is seeking to appoint an
NDT Lecturer.

As an active member of the International Institute of Welding (IIW), the organisation provides internationally recognised qualifications and technical expertise to advance industry standards.

Key Requirements Include:

• Valid
  Level 3 certification
  in: Radiographic Testing (RT/X-ray), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Penetrant Testing (PT) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)
• Level 2 Certification in
  at least four NDT methods
• Minimum
  5 years of industrial experience

Responsibilities Include:

• Prepare and update training materials for PT, MT, VT, RT, UT, and ECT (Levels 1 & 2)
• Deliver lectures at SAIW, client premises, or other venues
• Assist with practical training sessions and invigilate Level 1 & 2 exams
• Provide guidance and mentorship to trainees
• Support marketing of NDT services and manage NDT equipment and consumables
• Stay current with industry standards by attending seminars and conferences
