Purpose of the Role:
To effectively manage the procurement, control, and recording of tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies by ensuring accurate documentation, timely processing of purchase requests and invoices, and maintaining up-to-date inventory records on EMA. The role ensures operational efficiency by coordinating with suppliers, supporting the purchasing and finance departments, and conducting regular inspections and stock counts to prevent production delays and maintain compliance with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
· Responsible to create purchase requests for local suppliers of tools via EMA.
· Responsible to verify goods received against goods invoice.
· Ensure that invoices submitted to purchasing department timeously.
· Responsible to record all tools and equipment as per loan tool register.
· Responsible for weekly and monthly reports
· Responsible for cycle counts to be done upon request to ensure data has been updated on EMA.
· Responsible for stock counts when requested from the finance department.
· Ensure motorized equipment inspection sheet is completed daily.
· Ensure equipment control form done daily.
· Responsible to communicate with local suppliers when needed.
· Ensure all urgent requests to be communicated with the purchasing department to avoid any production delays or line stoppages.
· Managing inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment
· Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment, and assets
· Adhoc Functions within the ambit of the position as and when required
Minimum Requirements:
· Matric or higher
· SAP Knowledge
· Advanced Computer literacy
· Advanced MS Excel
· Knowledge/experience of maintenance tools
· Minimum 2 years' experience in similar role
