Our client is seeking a seasoned professional to oversee a diversified property portfolio spanning direct assets and investment vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and long-term value.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage property portfolios across direct assets and investment vehicles
  • Drive portfolio growth, development, and value creation in line with mandate and strategy
  • Ensure market-related returns and stable cash flow through proactive risk management
  • Guide acquisition, development, and disposal decisions to optimise performance
  • Lead sustainable initiatives and operational efficiencies at building and portfolio level
  • Report accurately to Boards and relevant committees
  • Oversee Property Management, Asset Management, and Development teams
  • Manage property budgets and ensure strong internal processes
  • Lead and develop staff, ensuring performance against KPIs

Requirements:

  • BCom Finance degree, honours, or equivalent (NQF 8)
  • FIAS RE5 (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
  • Minimum 10 years experience in the Property Investment Industry, including at least 5 years at senior management level with direct reports
  • Strong knowledge of asset management, property law, development, acquisition and disposal, accounting, and performance calculation
