THE JOB AT A GLANCEYou will be responsible for sorting and recoding of quality defects (Table sorter) to world class standards while completing QC documents. You are required to comply with safety protocols while sorting, ensure your fully compliant with required PPE, raise SRO's and comply with Tiger brands safety policy. Ensure that your work area is clean and GMP (Good manufacturing practice) adherence, ensure MECP KPIs are met.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Avoid generation of reworks
Achieve the shift plan
Timeously record full can code
Timeously correctly inspect and record label and product specification on the QC check sheet
Record waste and can code correctly on the QC check sheet
Ensure rework from downstream does not accumulate.
Assist the station before and after the table to clean during Maintenance
Ensure defective product is detected and removed from the line
Immediately escalate deviations and product non-conformance to your line manager.
Give accurate and detailed hand over to incoming shift
Handle the product according to HACCP standard
Wear your PPE
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Matric/Grade12 with Mathematics and Physical Science or Matric with RPL or 3 years Tertiary qualification (NQF 6)
Industry – +- 2-years' experience within FMCG industry
