Humewood Golf Club is seeking a Mechanical Assistant to join our team and work in the Club's workshop under the guidance of the Workshop Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the repair, servicing, and maintenance of golf course equipment and machinery.
  • Support the Workshop Manager in daily workshop operations.
  • Report directly to the Maintenance Manager and, in turn, to the General Manager.
  • Ensure all tools and machinery are kept in good working order and the workshop area remains tidy and safe.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 certificate (Matric).
  • 2–3 years of mechanical experience, preferably in a maintenance or workshop environment.
  • Reliable transport to and from work.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions carefully.
  • Willingness to start early in the morning and work until just after midday.

Working Hours:

Early morning start to early afternoon (exact hours to be discussed during the interview).
