Role Description

This is a full-time, remote position for a Solutions Architect located in the City of Johannesburg. The Solutions Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust architectural solutions aligned with business objectives. Daily tasks include consulting with stakeholders to determine system requirements, integrating various software systems to ensure seamless operations, and mapping business processes for optimization. The role requires collaboration across various teams to ensure solutions meet technical and strategic needs.

What You'll Do

Client Discovery & Solution Support

Participate in discovery sessions to understand client goals and existing workflows.

Help create solution documentation, Azure-based architecture outlines, and client-facing materials.

Research Azure technologies—Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, Logic Apps, Power Automate—to evaluate their fit for client needs.

Support solution walkthroughs, proposals, and presentations.

Workflow Mapping & Implementation

Build workflow maps, process diagrams, and system requirements aligned to Azure cloud solutions.

Assist in configuring and testing CRMs, helpdesks, and automation flows integrated with Azure tools.

Identify inefficiencies and propose Azure-powered improvements using Logic Apps, Power Automate, Azure Functions, and more.

Maintain internal SOPs, integration guides, and knowledge bases.

Cross-Team Collaboration

Partner with Implementation Specialists to hand off requirements and monitor solution delivery.

Support internal teams as they adopt and utilize Azure-driven solutions.

Contribute to project tracking, reporting, and communication using Azure DevOps, ClickUp, or Jira.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

Experience in implementations, project management, or technical solution deployment.

Experience with workflow mapping, requirements gathering, and process documentation.

Interest in—and ideally exposure to—Azure technologies such as Azure OpenAI, Logic Apps, Power Automate, Power Apps, Azure Cognitive Services.

Strong communication skills with the ability to make complex ideas simple.

Experience with project management tools like Azure DevOps, ClickUp, or Jira.

A problem-solving mindset and a desire to take on new, evolving challenges.
