About the Role:

PRYMO DRC seeks an experienced Data Engineering and Business Intelligence Consultant to design, automate, and deploy a cloud-based data and analytics environment, enabling real-time insights across multiple business units. The consultant will deliver a turnkey solution, ensuring seamless data flow from source systems to Power BI dashboards, with optional periodic maintenance and optimization sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Architecture & Automation

  • Design and implement data pipelines (ETL) for integrating and transforming data from multiple sources (bank statements, mobile money APIs, CSVs, etc.).
  • Automate data refresh and report publication using Power BI Service and cloud scheduling tools.
  • Ensure data consistency, traceability, and high availability.

Business Intelligence & Visualization

  • Build interactive Power BI dashboards with drill-down capabilities for management, finance, and operations teams.
  • Define KPIs and reporting structures aligned with PRYMOs business needs (daily balances, transactions per network, volumes by corridor, etc.).
  • Train internal staff for report usage and basic troubleshooting.

Cloud Infrastructure & Storage

  • Set up and manage a secure cloud environment (Azure preferred) for hosting data, ETL processes, and Power BI datasets.
  • Implement user access control, backup policies, and data protection mechanisms.

Maintenance & Support

  • Provide periodic technical support and optimization.
  • Deliver documentation on data architecture, workflows, and maintenance procedures.
