Financial Manager – Strategic Partnerships | Fintech | Consumer Lending

An exciting opportunity has opened for a
strategic and commercially minded Financial Manager
to join a rapidly growing fintech business operating at the intersection of payments, digital banking, and financial inclusion.

This role sits within a
high-impact partnerships and alliances division
, supporting collaborations with global payment networks, embedded finance providers, and digital lenders. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving commercial strategy, pricing frameworks, and financial performance within the
consumer lending and payments
environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial modelling, commercial analysis, and strategic decision support for key alliances and consumer lending initiatives.
  • Develop business cases and pricing models for new products, embedded finance solutions, and lending partnerships.
  • Collaborate with senior executives and external partners to structure commercial agreements that balance profitability and growth.
  • Deliver insights and recommendations that influence negotiations, funding structures, and strategic planning.
  • Ensure robust financial governance, forecasting, and performance reporting across lending and partnership portfolios.

Minimum Requirements:

  • CA(SA)
    or equivalent professional qualification.
  • 5+ years'
    experience in
    consumer lending, payments, or fintech
    (essential).
  • Strong understanding of
    credit economics, partnership models, and pricing strategies
    within the lending sector.

  • Advanced commercial and analytical acumen.
  • Proven experience developing and implementing pricing and profitability frameworks.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution and decision-making ability.
