Our client is a leading innovator in the iGaming industry, committed to delivering the highest quality gaming experiences to players around the world. They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join their team in Johannesburg.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. You will also define the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

Your key job responsibilities as the Project Manager in Johannesburg will include:

  • Project Planning and Management: Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.
  • Scope and Schedule Management: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Budget Management: Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals and manage project budget.
  • Team Coordination: Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path, proactively managing changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.

Requirements:

  • Preferred degree in business administration, project management, or related field
  • 3+ years in project management, ideally in iGaming
  • Experience with Agile preferred
  • Knowledge of current IT technologies, trends, and tools
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, Scrum; managing budgets, timelines, resources
  • Effective leadership and employee management skills
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Understanding of business strategy, financial and risk management
  • Skills in change management and resistance handling
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, PCI, GDPR, and other regulations
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools; Best Practice Standards (ISO20000, ITIL, COBIT2019)
