 Role Overview

As a 
Senior Data Engineer
, you'll lead and deliver enterprise-level data solutions, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, engage stakeholders, and manage resources across the software development lifecycle.

 Location

Based in 
JHB North and surrounds

 What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years' experience
     in Data Engineering or similar
  • Strong SQL skills (3–5+ years) and 
    SSIS
     – 
    Essential
  • Experience in the 
    banking sector
     and 
    consulting
     – 
    Highly preferred
  • Azure & Power BI – 
    Very beneficial
  • Leadership experience (direct or project-related reports) – 
    Highly preferred
  • Strong grasp of Agile, SDLC, and project delivery methodologies
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven success in managing multiple projects in high-stakes environments

 Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (
    preferred
    )
  • Project Management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2) – 
    a plus
