Our client is a leader in the Real Estate Services Industry, with global backing, they dominate the South African market with a broad portfolio of integrated facilities services. As a vital and highly successful division of a larger property services group, their security and guarding team is well-established, employing thousands of staff across the country.

They are now looking for a dynamic
Tactical and Intervention Manager
to take the lead of their Tactical and Riot Intervention Team based in Johannesburg. This is an exciting, fast-paced role where you can make your mark, drive change, and lead a high-performance team.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead and Manage:
    Take command of the Intervention and Tactical teams, ensuring flawless execution during critical security situations.
  • Training and Development:
    Drive continuous training and development to ensure your team is always at the top of their game, prepared for any tactical or riot control challenge.
  • Liaise with Authorities:
    Be the go-to person for SAPS (South African Police Service), local authorities, and Disaster Management, ensuring seamless coordination during incidents.
  • Crisis Management:
    Lead the charge during high-risk situations, including riots, public disturbances, and emergencies, ensuring rapid response and effective resolution.

The ideal candidate will have between 8 to 10 years' experience in tactical security operations and riot control, with a solid background in law enforcement, preferably from a police or similar agency. You should be a proven leader with strong team management skills, able to coordinate and motivate large teams across various operations. Excellent communication and coordination abilities are essential, especially when liaising with local authorities and security forces. Most importantly, you must have the ability to perform under pressure, delivering effective results in high-risk, crisis environments.
