An exciting senior leadership opportunity has opened for a dynamic Cluster Sales Manager to drive national sales performance across a large-scale operation. This role is ideal for an experienced sales leader with strong strategic capability, exceptional people management skills and the ability to influence performance across multiple regions.

About the Role

The Cluster Sales Manager will spearhead the national sales strategy, ensuring consistent achievement of revenue targets across all regions. This role is responsible for overseeing corporate accounts, buying groups, and franchise head offices while driving alignment between sales execution and broader business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sales Leadership

  • Develop and implement national sales strategies to drive growth and deliver against targets.
  • Forecast and track sales performance monthly, quarterly and annually.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate regional sales managers and their teams.
  • Conduct performance reviews and implement targeted training initiatives.
  • Build a high-performance, collaborative sales culture rooted in accountability.

Sales Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day sales operations and commission processes.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards.
  • Optimise utilisation of the R850 million budget to maximise ROI.

Customer & Stakeholder Management

  • Oversee national customer head office relationships and support structures.
  • Strengthen partnerships with key accounts, corporate clients and stakeholders.
  • Resolve escalated customer issues timeously.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align initiatives with sales goals.

Reporting & Performance Analysis

  • Present comprehensive performance reports to MANCO and OPCO.
  • Monitor KPIs and propose strategies to enhance sales effectiveness.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 to 5 years in senior management.
  • Proven success in managing large budgets and meeting ambitious sales targets.
  • Experience leading geographically dispersed teams.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong strategic planning and analytical abilities.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Advanced financial acumen and budget management expertise.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and data-driven decision-making.
  • Willingness to travel nationally as required.
