Senior Data Engineer / Analyst
to join a multi-year IT transformation programme aimed at renewing and modernising its financial surveillance systems. The role focuses on business process modelling, engineering, and data-driven process improvement within a large-scale transformation initiative.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Define and optimise business processes and value chains relevant to the Financial Surveillance function.
  • Identify, analyse, and improve business processes, operating models, and value streams.
  • Interpret and apply industry process standards and frameworks (e.g., APQC, TOGAF).
  • Conduct process analysis, design, and development to improve systems, data flow, and operational efficiency.
  • Assess current-state processes to identify problem areas, inefficiencies, and control weaknesses.
  • Proactively identify improvement opportunities and recommend sustainable solutions.
  • Identify automation opportunities and provide recommendations for application.
  • Develop detailed business process flows and define technology enablement opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development of Target Operating Models and related artefacts.
  • Prepare process documentation, standard operating procedures, and repository content.
  • Collaborate with architects, SMEs, process owners, and technical experts to deliver integrated solutions.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in
    Information Technology, Engineering, Informatics, or Business Information Systems
  • OR
  • Process Engineering Certification (e.g., CBPP
    or equivalent)

Experience

  • 7–10 years
    relevant professional experience.
  • At least
    5 years
    proven experience in
    process engineering
    .
  • Proficiency in
    process modelling tools
    (preferably ADONIS or similar).

Preferred / Advantageous:

  • Business Architecture training or certification.
  • Lean or Six Sigma methods and techniques.
