We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work within the North Region Planning Department.
The successful applicant will be working within the resource planning team and will be responsible for providing thorough and efficient organisational planning, and a comprehensive level of administrative support to ensure the most effective utilisation of resources. A blended mix of home working as well as office based (Laxford House, Inverness) can be considered.
The position is for 37 hours per week Monday Friday with monthly weekend working also required, although flexible working patterns are negotiable.
The role will include providing all operational personnel with shifts, utilising relief staff to their full potential, administration support for student placements within the Region and liaising with Managers and Team Leaders to ensure that leave is rostered correctly. The role also includes providing timely, accurate information regarding resource planning to managers and relevant Departments within the Service.
You must be computer literate and familiar with Microsoft applications and databases, including excel. Also required is confidence and competence in the use of IT, the ability to work on own initiative and demonstrate a logical and methodical approach to problem solving, along with accuracy and attention to detail.
You will be required, on occasions, to deal with sensitive information and therefore the post holder must have an awareness of the Data Protection Act and a high degree of professional integrity.
