We're Hiring: IT Risk Analyst | Pretoria

Are you passionate about protecting information assets, strengthening controls, and ensuring technology environments remain secure and compliant? We are looking for an experienced IT Risk Analyst to join our team and play a key role in managing and mitigating technology-related risks across the organisation.

In this role, you will work closely with the Head of IT and senior management to identify risks, assess vulnerabilities, strengthen governance, and support compliance with key regulatory and risk frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

· Conduct IT risk assessments across systems, applications, and infrastructure

· Maintain and update the IT risk register and prepare governance reports

· Perform IT control reviews and recommend improvements

· Ensure compliance with POPIA, GDPR, NIST, COBIT, and other regulatory standards

· Assist with investigating IT security incidents and managing remediation

· Develop and maintain IT risk policies, standards, and procedures

· Support disaster recovery planning and DR test execution

Minimum Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field

· years' experience in IT risk management, cybersecurity, IT audit, or IT governance

· Understanding of risk frameworks such as NIST and COBIT

· Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements

· Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills

Preferred Certifications

· CRISC

· CISA
