Marketing Intern, Luxe Division

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Marketing Intern to join our dynamic Luxe division team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced and glamorous world of luxury beauty marketing. The intern will support the marketing team in various capacities, contributing to brand visibility, consumer engagement, and the successful execution of marketing strategies and campaigns for our prestigious luxury brands. This role is ideal for an individual with a passion for beauty, a keen eye for detail, and a desire to learn and grow within a leading luxury environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Campaign Support:
  • Assist in the implementation and execution of marketing plans and strategies for luxury products.
  • Contribute to the development and production of diverse marketing materials, presentations, and communication tools, ensuring they align with the luxury brand image.
  • Support the coordination of exclusive events, product launches, and in-store initiatives, including liaising with high-end third-party suppliers and managing logistics.
  • Coordinate the packing and tracking of PR kits and product samples for top-tier media and influential figures in the luxury space.
  • Market Research & Analysis:
  • Conduct comprehensive market and competitor research specific to the luxury sector to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive launches.
  • Gather and analyze sales data, contributing to monthly sell-out reports and new luxury product performance analysis.
  • Consolidate monthly PR clippings and track media values, monitoring brand social media presence and news articles within the luxury market.
  • Assist in compiling qualitative competition analysis for luxury brands and high-end retailers.
  • Digital & Social Media Engagement:
  • Assist with developing and scheduling sophisticated social media content tailored for luxury audiences.
  • Monitor and track the performance of digital marketing activities and social media campaigns for luxury products.
  • Brainstorm innovative digital and social content ideas for editorial calendars that resonate with a discerning clientele.
  • Budget Management & Administration:
  • Assist in managing and tracking marketing budgets, including raising Purchase Orders (POs) and monitoring expenses for luxury initiatives.
  • Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, managing daily tasks and ensuring smooth operations.
  • Maintain organized records and files for marketing assets and reports.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with luxury brand teams, sales, training, and customer service departments to ensure a cohesive brand experience.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas within the department, fostering innovation in luxury marketing.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • A strong passion for the luxury beauty industry and a deep understanding of its trends, consumer landscape, and unique demands.
  • Previous experience in marketing, especially within luxury goods or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) with a premium focus, is a significant plus.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively, maintaining a sophisticated tone appropriate for luxury brands.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous and thorough in all tasks, ensuring accuracy in reporting and material development, crucial for maintaining a premium image.
  • Organizational & Time Management: Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Proactiveness & Initiative: Eager to take initiative, work autonomously, and proactively seek solutions and improvements, demonstrating a drive for excellence.
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint for creating compelling presentations.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and social media management tools used in the luxury sector.
  • Knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) for tracking performance metrics.
  • Experience with content creation software or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
  • Creativity: Ability to contribute innovative ideas and develop engaging marketing content that aligns with luxury aesthetics and brand values.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adjust priorities rapidly and thrive in a dynamic work environment.
