We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Facilitator to join our training and development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging, compliant, and industry-relevant OHS training to learners, ensuring that learning outcomes align with national standards and workplace safety best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate accredited OHS training programmes in accordance with SETA and NQF requirements.
  • Develop lesson plans, training materials, and assessment tools.
  • Conduct learner assessments, provide feedback, and maintain training records.
  • Promote a culture of safety and compliance within training environments.
  • Stay updated on current OHS legislation, regulations, and industry standards.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of NQF Level 5 qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or a closely related field.
  • At least 3 years of practical work experience in the Occupational Health and Safety discipline.
  • Registered with a recognised Occupational Health and Safety professional body.
  • Proven experience in facilitation, learner assessment, and training delivery.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Assessor and/or Moderator registration with the relevant SETA.
  • Strong understanding of South African OHS legislation and workplace compliance frameworks.
  • Ability to engage adult learners using interactive and practical learning methods.
