Parts Buyer

Hire Resolves Client is looking for a Parts Buyer in the Civil Construction industry. Must be located or willing to relocate to Wellington, WC. 

Responsibilities: 

• Sourcing and getting quotations for parts.
• Ordering and buying of parts after quotations have been approved.
• Updating and keeping control of ground engaging tools, filters v/belts and other parts on a database
• Update service sheets and arranging of services and bookings.
• Collecting plant hours on Monday mornings for revue meeting.
• Delivering and collecting of vehicles to and from service.
• Collecting of parts that cannot be delivered.
• Keeping record of plant and small plant available at head office on a database.
• Responsible for all clerical work in JVZ PLANT workshop office.
• Controlling the cleaning of workshop office and toilets.

Stores:
Parts and oil:

• Stock keeping and control of parts and oils in and out of stores.
• Keeping a database of stock and lubricants.
• Keeping the store clean and tidy.

Tyre store:

• Stock keeping and control of tyres in and out of store.
• Keeping a database of tyres new and s/h spare.
• Controlling and record keeping of spare wheels.
• Keeping store clean and tidy.

Small plant store:

• Stock keeping and control of small plant in and out of small plant store.
• Keeping a database of small plant in store available to go out to work.
• Controlling small plant in and out of store.
• Keeping store clean and tidy.

Requirements: 

• Matric or further qualification
• 3 years experience minimum
