Key Responsibilities
- Programme Delivery: Oversee end-to-end delivery of programmes, ensuring milestones, benefits, and quality standards are achieved.
- Strategic Alignment: Ensure all programmes align with organizational goals and transformation objectives.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including CxO-level engagement, and manage expectations effectively.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify, escalate, and mitigate risks across projects; implement robust contingency plans.
- Financial Control: Track budgets, forecasts, and ensure cost efficiency; provide accurate financial reporting.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor project managers and support staff within the programme; foster a high-performance culture.
- Governance: Ensure adherence to Capita's governance frameworks, compliance standards, and reporting requirements.
- Change Management: Drive adoption of new processes and systems, ensuring smooth transition and minimal disruption.
- Delivery of programme milestones on time and within budget.
- Achievement of defined benefits and strategic objectives.
- Stakeholder satisfaction scores and engagement levels.
- Risk and issue resolution within agreed timelines.
- Compliance with governance and reporting standards.
- Successful implementation of change initiatives.
- Proven track record in programme and project management within transformation or large-scale change environments.

- Familiarity with methodologies such as MSP, Prince2, or equivalent.

Professional Know-how:
Education & CertificationsMinimum: Bachelor's degree in business, Management or related field.
- Professional certifications such as MSP, Prince2, PMP, or Agile Programme Management are highly desirable.
- Continuous professional development in programme and portfolio management.
Experience:
- of 5+ years of relevant programme and project management experience, ideally in transformation or large-scale change environments.
- Leadership:
Proven experience leading and mentoring teams, including project managers and support staff. - Stakeholder Engagement:
Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including CxO-level engagement. - Risk & Financial Management:
Skilled in identifying and mitigating risks, managing budgets, and ensuring cost efficiency. - Methodologies:
Familiarity with programme management methodologies such as MSP, Prince2, PMP, or Agile. - Change Management:
Experience driving adoption of new processes and systems, ensuring smooth transitions.
