Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a General Foreman located in the City of Johannesburg. The General Foreman will oversee daily construction operations, manage project timelines, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Key responsibilities include supervising staff, delegating tasks, monitoring job progress, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality work. Close collaboration with team members and effective communication will be essential to the role.

Qualifications

  • Strong Supervisory Skills to manage teams and assign responsibilities effectively.
  • Proficiency with operating and maintaining Heavy Equipment.
  • Excellent Communication skills for clear coordination with varied stakeholders.
  • Experience and knowledge in Carpentry and maintenance tasks.
  • Solid understanding of safety protocols and construction practices.
  • Ability to solve problems efficiently and adapt to changing job conditions.
  • Relevant work experience in construction or a related field is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
