Repairing, maintaining and installing hydraulic systems :

  • Read, interpret and accurately complete customer drawings and/or job cards
  • Conduct troubleshooting and fault finding
  • Build, install, maintain and repair hydraulic systems
  • Build, refurbish, repair maintain and test hydraulic cylinders
  • Preform testing of hydraulic system in accordance with company standards
  • Preform inspection on customer hydraulic systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance of hydraulic systems
  • Report all matters of importance in respect of all jobs working on or completed
  • Preform welding duties
  • Guide customers on related technical matters
  • Take diligent care and account for all working tools and equipment allocated to yourself

Hose Assembling :

  • Making up hose assemblies ( cutting, skiving, crimping)
  • Perform inspections on working tools and machinery and report all working tools and machinery that requires maintenance

Customer Service :

  • Receive and submit customer complaints
  • Attend meetings at the behest of the client including site meetings as and when required

Administration :

  • Liaise with the relevant department to ensure timeous and accurate processing of job cards
  • Ensure that all stock and consumables used on the jobs (repairs, maintenance and installations, welding) is accounted for.
  • Keep own records of picking slips and/or job cards
  • Keep own records of reported shortages in respect of stock and consumables

Adhoc duties :

  • Assist in with loading and offloading
  • Assist in loading and offloading of incoming and outgoing goods

General :

  • Observe and implement the values of HANSA-FLEX mission statement
  • Actively participate in departmental team meetings (team talks), toolbox talks etc.
  • Ensure and work towards supreme customer service and satisfaction at all times through elimination of
  • Report any irregularities by fellow employees, superiors, customers and any other person(s).
  • Familiarise yourself with and adhere to all company rules and regulations, standards, policies

Health and Safety :

  • Familiarise yourself with and adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations, standards, policies and procedures i.e. Personal Protective equipment including clothing, Safe Operating Procedures, etc.
  • Report (do not fix) all hazardous and unsafe work situations, conditions and environment i.e. lights, electric cables, plugs, shelves etc.
  • Report fellow employees and any other person failing to conform to health and safety rules, regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R9 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month
