Breeder Manager

The Ideal Candidate Would Be Responsible For

• Managing and coordinating the operational and strategic activities of Goldi's breeding operations by motivating and communicating with the various operational managers;
• Maintaining and improving the current biological performance of Goldi farms while effectively controlling unit costs;
• Ensuring that overall egg and chick quality is maintained and continuously improved;
• Ensuring that current policies and procedures are adhered to and amended as required;
• Ensuring that Goldi farms comply with all legislation and risk control policies;
• Ensuring that bio-security and general disease management principles are maintained and developed;
• Maintaining and promoting the 20 Keys principles of continuous improvement.

The Successful Candidate Must Meet The Following Requirements

• A Diploma or BSc degree in Agriculture or Animal Science;
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior breeder managerial position;
• Sound knowledge of poultry husbandry with a strong focus on breeders;
• Proven ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of employees;
• Ability to perform and deliver excellent results under pressure.
