Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Electrician - Project Technician located on-site in the Johannesburg, Durban, Richards Bay or Cape Town. The Electrician - Project Technician will be responsible for technical project installations, including inspections, maintenance and repair of LPS, earthing and surge installations according to the relevant SANS standards. The role requires a dynamic and driven electrical experienced technician who can compile inspection reports, cost remedial work, design lightning protection and earthing systems according to the relevant codes of practice and industry standards, and manage project installations to deliver high-quality operational service to clients.

Qualifications

  • Qualified electrician / Completed Trade Test
  • Experience in Maintenance & Repair and Troubleshooting of LPS, earthing and electrical systems
  • Knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles
  • Ability to work on-site and on projects nationally
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Solid operational and project management experience
  • Experience in lightning protection and earthing systems is a requirement
