Job Advert Summary

Eduvos is looking to employ an Academic Content Writer, with specialisation in Electronical Engeering / Electronics Engineering / Mechanical Engineering/ Mechatronics Engineering / Computer Systems Engineering within the subject area of Robotics, to be based at any of our 12 National Eduvos campuses.

Type of role:

Fixed Term (Will be required to work on a full-time basis)

Purpose of the role:

The purpose of the role is to provide content writing services within the Information Technology Department.



Minimum Requirements

Minimum qualifications required:

  • Masters in Electronical Engeering / Electronics Engineering / Mechanical Engineering/ Mechatronics Engineering / Computer Systems Engineering

Minimum experience required:

  • At least three years' experience of lecturing and / or developing study materials in the Higher Education sector.
  • Experience in experience in creating interactive content on a learner management system (e.g. Moodle) will highly be preferable.
  • Experience in setting assessments on various NQF levels.
  • Publishing of academic journals will be advantageous.
  • Hands on experience with Arduino and/or Raspberry PI. 
  • Experience in Assembly Programming and/or Python Programming.
  • Experience in Modelling of a mechanical system. 
  • Experience in Position and Orientation of a Robot system.
  • Experience in Computer Vision for Robot Applications.
  • Experience in Control Systems and Application.
