Operations Manger

Our client, a leader in the Glass manufacturing and distribution sector, is looking for an Operations Manager to take ownership of all warehouse and logistics functions across a fast-paced operation.

As the Operations Manager, you'll ensure efficient supply chain performance, develop high-performing teams, and drive operational improvements that align with business goals.

• Oversee daily warehouse and logistics operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and dispatch

• Develop and implement strategies to optimise workflow, reduce costs, and improve turnaround times

• Lead and motivate warehouse and logistics teams to meet KPIs and service standards

• Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and relevant legislation

• Monitor fleet utilisation and coordinate distribution planning

• Analyse operational data and generate reports for senior management

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, sales, and procurement

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in Operations Management within a warehouse and logistics environment, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Excellent understanding of supply chain processes, inventory control, and distribution planning

• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Excel

• A relevant tertiary qualification in logistics, supply chain, or operations management is preferred

• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication, analytical, and organisational skills
