Job Advert Summary

SAHETI School is an independent, co-educational, English-medium school dedicated to the

in Senderwood, Bedfordview.

To provide high-quality teaching and learning during the absence of the permanent Foundation

Phase teacher, ensuring continuity of education and the holistic development of learners in

accordance with SAHETI's ethos and academic standards.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in education (Foundation Phase) or an equivalent qualification.
  • SACE registration (active and in good standing).
  • Proven experience teaching in the Foundation Phase (Grades 2).
  • Excellent classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Sound understanding of IEB and child-centered teaching methodologies.
  • Commitment to the values and ethos of SAHETI School.
  • Clearance Certificate in terms of the Sexual Offenders' Register.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons aligned with the IEB curriculum and

SAHETI School's educational approach.

  • Maintain effective classroom management and create a positive, supportive learning

environment.

  • Prepare daily lesson plans, assessments, and learning materials as required.
  • Monitor and report on learners' academic progress and general wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with grade partners, phase heads, and support staff to ensure academic

consistency and learner development.

  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians where necessary.
  • Uphold school policies, values, and safeguarding procedures.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and other school activities when

applicable.
