About the role

As a Test Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our insurance systems and products. You will be responsible for designing and executing test cases, logging and managing defects, and collaborating directly with developers to resolve issues quickly and effectively. The role requires accountability, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a demanding and fast-paced environment.

You will work within a dynamic, youthful, and collaborative team that values initiative, accountability, and continuous learning.

Our ideal candidate has

  • Experience

    • 3–5 years of testing experience in an Agile environment.

    • Proven ability to write test cases from business requirements, execute them, and record test evidence.

    • Hands-on experience in defect management and direct engagement with developers.

  • Technical Skills

    • Enthusiastic about automation, with initial hands-on exposure, supported by foundational experience, Browserstack, Jira, with solid SQL & API testing knowledge

  • Attributes

    • Strong personality, accountable and responsible.

    • A team player with the ambition to grow into a Test Lead role.

    • Ability to thrive in a high-demand environment and take ownership of outcomes.

  • Industry Background

    • An insurance background is not mandatory but will be highly advantageous due to industry-specific jargon.

Education (Minimum)
  • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Software Testing or Information Technology
Education (Ideal or Preferred)
  • National Diploma in Information Technology
