Hire Resolve's client is seeking a skilled and experienced Procurement & Import Controller to join their team in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement processes, supplier negotiations, logistics coordination, and inventory forecasting.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage purchase requests and RFQs.

  • Source and negotiate pricing with international and local suppliers.

  • Ensure timely delivery and accurate documentation of orders.

  • Oversee logistics processes for incoming shipments.

  • Resolve shipment issues and discrepancies.

  • Research and source new products.

  • Manage customer requests and marketing lists.

  • Handle help desk requests and queries.

  • Manage damaged goods and warranty replacements.

  • Forecast stock demand and provide accurate ETAs.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in procurement and import management.

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.

  • Proficient in Odoo or similar ERP systems.

  • Knowledge of HS codes and customs regulations.

  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills.

  • Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Excel.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
