We are partnering with a leading financial institution to recruit a Full Stack Test Analyst for a 12-month contract. This role is responsible for delivering end-to-end technical testing for a comprehensive data transformation programme, covering backend and frontend testing, integration testing, automation, and performance testing, as well as validating all associated reporting components. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating and executing Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring rigorous oversight, clear reporting, and successful sign-off across all testing phases. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Test Analyst to contribute to a major transformation initiative within a high-profile financial environment.

Requirements
  • 5 - 8 years' experience with Performance Test Execution, with minimum 3 years in the cloud environment and data environments.
  • 3 to 6 years experienced in conducting Functional Testing and Automation Testing as well as coordinating and reporting on User Acceptance Testing preparation, execution and sign off.
  • Solid knowledge and experience with Data Testing, Latency Testing, Failover Testing and Capacity Testing. 
  • Extensive knowledge of LoadRunner - MF ALM.
  • Knowledge of software development languages (VB Scripting, C and Java).
  • Experience in Integration Performance Testing, API Performance Testing and Web Services Performance Testing.
  • Understanding of testing concepts i.e. testing methodologies and techniques.
  • Experience in automating API Services.
Responsibilities
  • Provide ongoing testing analysis to support the business and project teams.
  • Understand and apply industry testing standards and protocols when required.
  • Evaluate hardware and software during development to ensure solutions meet defined technical and functional requirements.
  • Identify products, features, or components to be assessed during the software review process.
  • Define appropriate test plans, including required test cases and test data.
  • Manage test data and document results of each test cycle to identify defects and performance issues.
  • Liaise with the software development team to ensure alignment throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Identify and help rectify errors overlooked during development to ensure solutions function efficiently prior to deployment.
  • Run diagnostic and system tests and present findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with development and validation teams to ensure effective communication and smooth delivery.
  • Identify and recommend the removal of redundant functions and components.
  • Develop a strong understanding of business applications, user needs, and expectations.
  • Work with business stakeholders to validate functional requirements against defined business needs.
  • Manage the quality of the solutions being deployed through required testing and evaluation processes.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing to ensure the deployed solution meets business requirements.
  • Perform any other related duties necessary for successful delivery of the services.
