SPECIFICATION  

We are excited to share an opportunity for the position of Financial Accountant for two divisions of our company.  They are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual who brings both academic qualifications and practical experience to support the financial & retail operations of these businesses. Job Specification Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review monthly financial statements and management reports
  • Maintain accurate general ledger records and ensure proper reconciliation
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts and variance analysis
  • Take responsibility for retail planning and allocations within Superfine
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external auditors as required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.
Offer Requirements:
  • BCom Degree in Financial Accounting from a major university in SA (Not a Diploma or B.Tech)
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably within the retail space
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls
  • Proficiency in financial systems and MS Excel
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
