The Mobile Developer will collaborate closely, including occasional pair programming sessions, with our Head of Development and UX designer. The role requires dedication during approximately 2-hour intervals in the South African Standard Time (SAST) zone and is fully remote.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proficiency in either Flutter (preferred) or React Native.
  • Familiarity with AWS services and deployment processes.
  • Experience with Django and building RESTful APIs is preferred.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team, with excellent communication skills.
  • Prior experience in developing internal applications, especially for sales agents, is advantageous.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Development and UX designer to conceptualize, design, and develop mobile applications.
  • Utilize Flutter or React Native frameworks to build engaging and responsive mobile applications.
  • Implement backend solutions using Django and deploy applications using AWS services.
  • Ensure seamless integration of RESTful APIs for efficient data exchange.
  • Participate in code reviews, debugging sessions, and occasional pair programming activities.
  • Contribute ideas and solutions to enhance the functionality and usability of internal applications for sales agents based in the UK.
