Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Randburg for an Information Technology Support Technician. The IT Support Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving software and hardware issues, performing system installations, updates, and configurations, and managing user accounts and permissions. Additional tasks will include conducting routine maintenance, troubleshooting technical problems, supporting IT projects, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems within the organisation.

Qualifications

·       Proficiency in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware and software issues

·       Knowledge of system installations, configurations, and updates

·       Experience in networking, managing user accounts, and administering IT systems

·       Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide effective technical support

·       Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an on-site setting

·       Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to IT challenges

·       Relevant certifications (such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft certifications) are beneficial
