Position Overview:

Professional International Holdings is seeking a Durban-based Transport & Logistics Administrator to support our clearing, forwarding, and transport operations. The successful candidate will coordinate and optimize the movement of goods locally and across borders, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and smooth communication across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist department managers with daily transport schedules and monitor local and cross-border movements.
  • Track shipments and provide timely, real-time updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage Navis bookings and liaise with Port Agents for containerized and breakbulk cargo.
  • Ensure compliance with port regulations and documentation requirements.
  • Maintain and monitor all company and vehicle renewals.
  • Support fleet maintenance schedules alongside department managers.
  • Prepare and manage export/import documentation, including airfreight.
  • Maintain accurate records, transport logs, and Proof of Deliveries (PODs).

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Matric Certificate (minimum).
  • Tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in transport or logistics administration, preferably in cross-border operations –
    critical requirement

  • Proficiency in logistics software such as
    NAVIS
    and
    EASYCLEAR
    –
    critical requirement
    .
  • Knowledge of GIT insurance, customs regulations, and cross-border documentation.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
  • References from previous employers.

Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced logistics and transport environment.
  • Flexibility to respond to operational issues outside standard hours.
  • Office-based in Durban (once a suitable office is established).
