Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Technician located in Kempton Park. The Technician will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on slaughtering, deboning, and hygiene equipment. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring that all equipment is functioning optimally. The Technician is also responsible for performing general driving duties such as collections and deliveries on a daily basis.

Qualifications

  • Mechanical skills, including diagnosing and repairing equipment issues
  • Experience with preventative maintenance and routine servicing of machinery
  • Knowledge of safety and hygiene standards in the meat industry
  • Ability to document maintenance activities accurately
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Relevant technical qualifications or certifications
  • Experience in the meat industry is a plus
  • Excellent driving skills is a requirement
