Afriforesight
, a well-established commodity research company and trusted advisor to policymakers, mining houses, and industrial service providers is embarking on an exciting new phase in our journey.

We are looking for a
finance graduate
to help maintain and expand our database of mined commodity–related economic and financial data.

This role involves
organizing & analyzing large datasets

, preparing
tables and charts

, and supporting our team with background research and various
administrative tasks

.

This position is ideally suited for someone with an interest in
global economic and political events
and enjoys working with data to uncover insights. You will have regular opportunities to engage with a dynamic team of economists, engineers, and geologists.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Finance or Statistics
    from a recognized university (completion of articles is an advantage)
  • Strong proficiency in
    Microsoft Excel
  • Solid working knowledge of
    Word, Outlook, and other Microsoft tools
    .
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring the highest level of accuracy in all deliverables
  • Strong research and organizational skills, adept at synthesizing information and managing complex data.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Additional Advantages

  • Familiarity with multimedia editing/data visualization tools (including
    Power BI

)
- 1–2 years relevant work experience.
- Adept at learning new technology

and applying it

to improve workflows
