Introduction

A proactive, analytical QS who can support engineering teams with strong commercial insight, structured cost control and high accuracy.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities and cost estimates for engineering, civil and infrastructure projects.

  • Conduct cost planning, cashflow forecasting and ongoing financial project control.

  • Administer contracts, progress claims, payment certificates and variations.

  • Manage tender documentation, pricing schedules and tender adjudication.

  • Perform site visits, measurements, risk assessments and project documentation.

  • Handle final accounts, claims support and commercial project management.

  • Must be willing to travel 

Desired Experience & Qualification

Requirements

  • 3–8 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor.

  • Proven experience working on engineering projects (civil, infrastructure, mechanical/electrical engineering or multidisciplinary environments).

  • Strong understanding of both pre-contract and post-contract QS functions.

  • Experience with FIDIC, NEC or JBCC contracts.

  • Proficiency in WinQS, CostX or similar measurement software.

  • Excellent costing, measurement accuracy and reporting skills.

  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to conduct site visits.
