Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated full-time Optometrist to join our team in Oudtshoorn. The Optometrist will perform comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose and manage ocular diseases, and prescribe corrective lenses to meet patients' unique needs. Responsibilities include providing thorough consultations, educating patients on eye health, addressing vision concerns, and collaborating with the team to deliver top-tier customer service. This is an on-site role that requires strong clinical expertise and a commitment to delivering the highest standard of patient care.

Qualifications

• Competence in conducting comprehensive eye examinations and diagnosing ocular conditions
• Proficiency in prescribing corrective lenses and advising on visual aids
• Effective communication and patient education skills
• Attention to detail and analytical skills for interpreting test results and providing precise diagnosis
• Ability to maintain a patient-focused approach and deliver exceptional customer care
• Relevant qualifications in Optometry and registered with the HPCSA
• Enthusiasm for continuous learning and staying updated on advancements in eye care practices
