Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales Engineer located in Middelburg & Secunda MP, Rustenburg & Carletonville NW, Lephalale & Steelpoort Limpopo, Pretoria & Johannesburg Gauteng, Sasolburg Free State and Umkomaas & Richards Bay KZN. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, providing technical support for products and services, and identifying customer needs. Duties include preparing and delivering technical presentations, creating proposals & tenders, addressing technical inquiries, and collaborating closely with the sales and engineering teams. The role requires a focus on ensuring customer satisfaction and achieving sales objectives within the water treatment and chemical engineering sectors.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and technical skills in Sales Engineering and Technical Support
  • Proven abilities in Sales and Customer Service to establish and maintain client relationships
  • Excellent Communication skills for clear and effective interaction with both clients and internal teams
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively on-site
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Metalurgical & Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred - Water Care, Microbiology, Analytical Chemistry
  • Prior experience in the water treatment or chemical engineering industry is highly desirable
  • Ability to work independently and meet project and tender deadlines efficiently
  • Able to meet Sales Targets and grow with the company at a fast pace
