Curro Holdings seeks to appoint a Caregiver (full-time) to commence duties in January 2026.
Curro Holdings is seeking to appoint a caring, responsible, and enthusiastic Caregiver at Curro Academy Mahikeng.
The Caregiver will assist the Aftercare Supervisor with daily aftercare duties, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for learners.

Key performance areas
- Assist the Aftercare Supervisor with daily aftercare operations.
- Support and supervise learners during aftercare and holiday programmes.
- Prepare classrooms and grounds according to daily and weekly lesson plans.
- Monitor extramural activities and ensure learner participation and safety.
- Supervise learners during snack time and bathroom routines, ensuring hygiene and care.
- Ensure that learners are collected by the correct guardian or authorised person.
- Communicate courteously with parents regarding learner well-being or incidents.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment for all learners.
- Assist with the preparation and organisation of aftercare activities and learning materials.
Qualifications, experience and skills
- Matric (required).
- Early Childhood Development Certificate Level 4 (advantageous).
- Minimum of 1 year experience in an aftercare or as a teacher assistant.
- Basic knowledge of child care and supervision.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, patience, and strong emotional control.
- Ability to plan, organise, and work as part of a team.
- Willingness to work shifts as required.
