Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Industrial Engineer role located in Durban. The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for analyzing and improving manufacturing processes, designing and implementing systems that optimize productivity and efficiency, and driving process improvements in industrial operations. Additional responsibilities include applying industrial engineering principles to solve operational challenges, conducting data analysis to inform decision-making, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering principles
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate and optimize processes
- Excellent communication skills for reporting, collaboration, and teamwork
- Experience with process improvement methodologies and strategies
- Problem-solving skills and a results-focused approach to engineering challenges
- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
- Previous experience in the manufacturing or agri-processing industries is a plus
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools
