Digi-Guru is a growing digital marketing agency based in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town that helps brands grow through strategic content, design, and social media. We're a creative, hands-on team focused on innovation, collaboration, and measurable results.
We are seeking a vibrant, creative, and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis (hybrid schedule, with a minimum of two office days per week). This is a hands-on creative role for someone who can design, create, schedule, and manage content across client brands, bringing each one to life through storytelling, trends, and consistent visual identity.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and schedule engaging content across multiple social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
- Manage day-to-day posting, community engagement, and responding to followers/messages.
- Ability to analyse and report on performance metrics, with an eye for constant improvement.
- Research current trends, competitor activity, and audience insights to keep content fresh and impactful.
- Collaborate with the team on campaign concepts, creative briefs, and content calendars.
- Ensure all content is accurate, polished, and aligned with brand voice and client expectations.
- Attend basic client shoots to capture behind-the-scenes, lifestyle, and UGC-style content.
- Direct clients confidently - bring energy and creativity to every shoot.
Requirements
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- High energy, positive attitude, and a team-player mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Creative thinker with an eye for design.
- Familiar with creative tools such as
Canva, Capcut, Filmora, ChatGPT or Similar platforms. Adobe skills will be advantageous. - Familiar with project management and team collaboration platforms such as , ClickUp or similar will be advantageous
- Your own reliable laptop and smartphone that can comfortably support design tools, scheduling apps, and daily social media tasks.
- A fast and stable internet connection.
- A driver's licence and own transport will be advantageous
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing (Certificate, diploma or degree)
- 2+ years of proven experience in digital marketing/social media management (agency experience is an advantage).
