We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Receptionist / Cashier to manage front-office operations, switchboard duties, and cash/COD transactions at our Bloemfontein branch. The successful candidate will be customer-focused, organised, and able to perform accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the switchboard, handle incoming calls, transfer calls appropriately, and relay messages
  • Receive, verify, capture, and refund cash and electronic payments
  • Match invoices with payments and manage COD accounts
  • Maintain and balance cash float, process bank deposits and transfers
  • Prepare and maintain daily cash and card sheets
  • Manage monthly waybills
  • Perform general filing and administrative duties

Reporting Line

  • Reporting directly to the Branch Manager

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric
  • Minimum 2 years' cashier experience
  • Previous administrative experience
  • Switchboard experience (advantageous)
  • SAP knowledge (advantageous)
  • Bilingual (advantageous)

Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong numerical and figure-orientated ability
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong data capturing skills
  • Ability to alphabetise and maintain structured filing systems
  • Excellent customer service skills
