We're looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and motivated Generator Technician to join our dynamic team If you love technical work, problem-solving, and growing your skills in a leading company, this is for you

Location: Lanseria
Salary: Market related
Hours: Full-time
Work type: Field/site-based (travel to client locations, install new equipment, respond to service requests, troubleshoot, technical training)

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to existing clients

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair diesel generators

  • Conduct load bank tests and diagnose issues

  • Re-wire, adjust, and install control panels & voltage regulators

  • Make voltage and speed adjustments per customer needs

  • Change filters and perform standard services

  • Help prepare generators for shipment

  • Assist with production and technical development of new generators & services

  • Work overtime / be on standby when needed

You'll Need:

  • Experience in Mechanical/Generator/Technical/Electrical fields

  • Diesel Mechanic certification (Red Seal)

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)

  • Detail-oriented, motivated, determined, confident, and independent

  • High EQ & strong interpersonal skills

  • Excellent numeracy and time management skills

  • Very good computer literacy – Excel essential; aptitude to program generator controllers

  • Familiar with CRM best practices

  • Matric, preferably with higher-grade subjects, especially Mathematics

  • Valid driver's license & reliable transport

  • Laaibanktoetse doen en probleme identifiseer

  • Herbedrading, aanpassings en installering van beheerpanele

  • Verstellings aan generators uitvoer volgens kliëntvereistes

  • Filters vervang en standaarddienste uitvoer

  • Help generators voorberei vir vervoer

  • Help met produksie en tegniese ontwikkeling van nuwe generators & dienste

  • Oortyd werk / op roep wees wanneer nodig

Jy Sal Vereis:

  • Ervaring in Meganiese/Generator/Tegniese/Elektriese velde

  • Diesel Meganiese sertifisering (Rooi Seël)

  • Uitstekende kommunikasievaardighede – mondelings en skriftelik

  • Aandag aan detail, gemotiveerd, vasbeslote, selfversekerd, onafhanklik

  • Hoë EQ & sterk interpersoonlike vaardighede

  • Uitstekende numeriese en tydsbestuursvaardighede
