**My client in the technologies space is looking to hire a seasoned Software Developer who will work together with the rest of the team to develop and enhance software products.**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
***
- **Designing, developing, and maintaining in-house developed software that fulfils customer and business requirements and enables Data Voice to be a profitable business.**
***:

- **Assisting in determining the requirements specifications for system/subsystem/component**
***:

- **Following company development processes**
***:

- **Distributing software builds for Quality Assurance**
***:

- **Debugging and fault finding**
***:

- **Hardware Integration - Playing an active role in integrating hardware and software where applicable.**
***:

- **System Integration and Testing**
***:
***:

- **On-site or online support for difficult installations, upgrades, and problems on request.**
***:

- **Assisting with development planning, e.g., analysis of requirements, technologies and providing time estimates.**
***:

- **Assisting with creation and reviewing of user and technical documentation.**
***:

- **Studying relevant standards/specifications.**
***

**Experience and competency requirements**:
***
- **4-year degree in Computer Science (3 years + Honours) or Electronic Engineering or equivalent.**
***:

- **Solid programming experience (for more senior positions).**
***:

- **Functional programming (advantage).**
***:

- **An understanding of software theories and principles, plus practical implementation.**
***:

- **Junior Software Developer: no experience required.**
***:

- **Software Developer: at least 2 years solid programming and design experience.**
***:

- **Senior Software Developer: at least 4 years solid programming and design experience.**
***
