Registration Retention Counsellor X2

**The IIE Varsity College, Westville Campus** has a vacancy for Registration Retention Counsellor (Fixed-Term).**

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Responsible for student registration admissions approval
- Checking qualification entrance criteria
- Checking and approval of module selection
- Calling students for retention purposes
- Processing of academic credits
- Collection and uploading of documents after academic counselling
- Assisting with student registration in the registration room
- Providing online/telephonic support for student registration (these are the fix terms who will be required to have their own device and stable internet connection for the Registration Support Centre, not all fix terms will do this, not sure how we will differentiate for the advert)
- Ad hoc admin/registration assistance

**Competencies required**:

- Good interpersonal skills
- Must be methodical/systematic
- Experience in Word & Excel essential
- Driver's license and own transport essential
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) and telephone manner
- Superior organisational and administrative skills
- Best suited to a service-oriented person
- Friendly, presentable, organised and able to work well under pressure
- High Initiative
- Excellent follow up skills

**Minimum Education requirements**:

- Matric, Certificate or Diploma preferred

***Minimum Work Experience requirements**:

- A minimum of 1-2 years relevant (Reception/Admin) working experience. Must be computer literate (Word & Excel)
