**purpose**:

- To provide legal advice and solutions to complex business challenges in respect of our legal cost insurance policy holders (personal and business). Partner with business to implement policies to comply with all legal and regulatory requirements and processes to mitigate risk. Provide guidance and management to more junior legal advisors.**experience and qualifications**:

- Minimum Qualification - Relevant Legal Degree, Admitted Attorney
- Preferred Qualification - LLB
- Experience - 3 years experience in a legal practice or similar environmentLegal Insurance background will be an advantage
- Person must not be an unrehabilitated insolvent**additional requirements**:

- To facilitate quality delivery across the various teams.
- To monitor quality adherence and compliance to quality standards.
- To ensure implementation of identified quality methodologies and improvement initiatives.
- To deploy the quality management tools.
- To provide support and act as a feedback channel for quality issues.
- To communicate quality initiatives.
- To provide ongoing intelligence on customers and competitors using internal and external data
- Sources i.e., monitor surveys etc.
- Offer input into market analysis and segmentation.
- To assist in aligning processes in the business and to ensure that this is in line with customers’ expectations.
- Identify possible risks in the area and come up with suitable action plans to ensure there are no loopholes in the process

**responsibilities**:

- Continuously assess own performance, seek timely and clear feedback and request training where appropriate
- Litigation support on insurance legal matters
- Provide legal advice
- Contribute to the development of a budget aligned to operational delivery plans, monitor effectiveness and report on variances
- Drafting of legal documentation and reviewing of contracts
- Ensure compliance to legislative and audit requirements and adherence to relevant processes
- Prevent wastage, and on an ongoing basis identify process improvements in order to contain and reduce costs
- Build working relationships across teams and functional lines in order to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation
- Deliver internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality service standards
