**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as an independent practitioner.
- Worked in Paediatrics as a Medical Officer in an Academic Department for at least 4 years.
- Registration with the as a Medical Specialist in Paediatrics will be an advantage
- Experience in undergraduate teaching and research will be an added advantage.

**DUTIES**:

- Provide training of undergraduate medical students as well as postgraduates.
- Actively involved in curriculum development
- Actively involved with assessment strategies and plans for undergraduate medical students
- Will include involvement with dental students and clinical associates too.
- Will be involved in the development of Work Based Assessments and EPAs (at postgraduate level)
