The AUDA-NEPAD invites applicants who are citizens of African Union Member States for the following position**:Programme Officer.**
Under the supervision of the Principal Programme Officer for Human Capital and Institutional Development (HCID), the Programme Officer will play a crucial role in the strategic coordination and implementation of the Africa Demographic Dividend and Sexual and Reproductive Health Programme (A2DSRH) within the Director's office.
**Required Skills and **Competencies**
- Sound understanding of AUDA-NEPAD structures and AU Health Financing Frameworks.
- Strong drive for timely completion of tasks, with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
- Demonstrated experience in developing programme proposals to support resource mobilisation.
- Proven ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
- Extensive experience in the public sector, with related private sector experience.
- Ability to develop and nurture networks among Member States, Grantees, and Funding Partners.
- Excellent planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Proficiency in one AU official language (French, English, Portuguese, Arabic), with fluency in another as an advantage.
- Ability to work in a multicultural and multilingual environment.
- Excellent presentation, report writing, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
**Education and **Experience**:
A master's degree in finance, Economic Policy, Economics, Health Economics, Public Policy, or a related field with a minimum relevant experience of two (2) years of working experience within multilateral/ development institutions or similar organisations nationally, regionally and/or internationally.
Or
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economic Policy, Economics, Health Economics, Public Policy, or a related field with a minimum relevant experience of four (4) years of working experience within multilateral/ development institutions or similar organisations nationally, regionally and/or internationally.

**Remuneration**:Indicative basic salary of US$35,044.83 per annum plus other entitlements e.g., Post Adjustment (57% of basic salary), Housing allowance ($21,832.88 per annum), gratuity (15% of gross salary) in conformity with the rules and procedures applicable to internationally recruited staff of the African Union.
