Payment Strategist

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conceptualise and develop new strategic initiatives
- Create business cases for strategic initiatives
- Analyse billing and payment processes for improvements and changes
- Workshop initiatives to improve the customer payment experience
- Monitor the initiatives effectiveness and suggest improvements / changes
- Work with billing and payments operations team to ensure implementation of billing and payment strategy
- Analyse, interpret, and communicate data from dashboards / data sources regarding
**Requirements and competencies**:

- Strategic thinking and the ability to analyse an initiatives validity and strategic fit within the larger focus of the business
- Analytical, problem solving and data-driven decision-making skills
- A holistic approach towards a problem, with structured thinking
- The ability to take initiative in ambiguous situations by identifying actional insights
- Collaborative, team player
- Strong leadership & interpersonal skills.
- MS Office - proficient PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
**Experience**:

- 5+ years work experience
- 3+ years in a strategy role
- BCom / BSc degree or similar
