Key Duties and Responsibilities Will Include, But Will Not Be Limited To:

- General management of the Spares Administrative, Purchasing and Housekeeping functions.
- Responsible for the spares planning and procurement function
- Develop, enforce, and monitor guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
- Develops and maintains effective spares department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Directly responsible to maintain and control the physical condition of the spares warehouse and supplies (general housekeeping).
- Interact, problem solve and provide direction for daily activities.
- Develop, measure, and drive inventory control methods that ensure inventory turns and inventory accuracy.
- Directly responsible to manage the recording and coordination of the flow of stock between departments.
- Provide technical assistance to spare parts department employees.
- Supervise, participate, and report on spares warehouse cycle counting program to include variance report monitoring.
- Actively manage, oversee, and participate in regular stock takes.
- Speedy research and investigation of stock shortages and missed picks and written feedback to management of investigation results as well as implementation of corrective action.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum: Grade 12
- Relevant Bachelor's Degree (BTech) or equivalent combination of a tertiary qualification
- Ability to motivate and develop direct reports.
- Occupational health and safety trained and experience
- 3-5 years direct work experience in a similar capacity in the same or similar industries

**Skills**:
- Knowledge of training and supervisory / management techniques.
- Business acumen and good understanding of business processes and functions
- Experience in Operation Management in setting up Spare parts service standards like, fill rate, order status, back orders, etc.
